Leeza started with Hudson Dermatology in 2021 and came to us with over 13 years of experience in healthcare. She received her Bachelor of Arts in Psychology degree from Hunter College, New York. Leeza continued her education and obtained a Master’s of Science in Healthcare Management degree from John Hopkins Carey Business School.
Besides her fusion of excellent clinical, administrative, and managerial skills, she brings passion and energy to our team. With this invaluable set of leadership skills, we look forward to working with her on bringing this practice to places we dreamed of.
“I am unique, humble, and passionate about life. Medicine has been a dream of mine for over a decade when I came to the United States from Belarus. During my college years, I volunteered at Weill Cornell Community Clinic H2H, and my life has never been the same since then. Nothing else in life brings me more joy than helping patients and making a difference while being a part of a team who always strives for perfection. Hudson Dermatology and Laser Surgery is definitely my kind of team, and I look forward to our growth together. I love my family and my English Cocker Spaniel, Shepherd, who is named after Dr. Shepherd from Grey’s Anatomy. I enjoy pilates, yoga, a healthy diet, and skiing. Christina has over 10 years of experience in dermatology and we are excited to have her be a part of the Hudson Derm Family!
“I’m from the Bronx, New York and I started working in dermatology in 2013. I’ve always enjoyed the business aspect of it, but throughout the years, I’ve learned a lot about skincare through my own experiences and others.
Patient care is my top priority. I try as best as I can to make all patients feel as welcome and as comfortable as possible. I love to make others feel good. Outside of the derm life, I enjoy cooking, spending time with family, and finding new adventures!” – Christina
I am originally from Vitoria, Espirito Santo, Brazil where I discovered my passion for skin care. My mother always took great care of her skin using natural ingredients such as coffee, arnica, and other fruits, herbs, and substances.
Growing up in a large family in Brazil I had a great childhood and my parents were my role models, so I followed in my mother’s footsteps and incorporated her skin care routine into my daily routine. I grew up in a tropical area where it was always sunny, so I was very cautious about taking care of my skin from a young age. Since my teenage years, I was always very careful about making sure I had sunscreen on to protect my skin. I always wanted to go to medical school, however this was difficult being that I had so many siblings and my parents did not have the means to send us all to school.
I started working young in order to get myself into school. During this time I decided to move to New York City without any of my family where my dreams of medical school became even more difficult to achieve.
I worked hard and was able to put myself into beauty school where I became even more interested in skin care. After my studies at Christine Valmy, I taught esthetics there to students whose first language was Portuguese or Spanish, preparing them for the State Board Exam.
Afterwards, I realized I enjoyed working with doctors as patients can explain their concerns to the doctor, and the doctor and I can work together to figure out the best plan of action to help patients reach their goals.
I have been an aesthetician for twenty years and it is my passion. I love helping patients feel more comfortable in their skin and see their skin improving. Since I have been an esthetician for so long, and esthetics is an ever changing field, I constantly keep up with all the new skin techniques.
I travel to Europe, Brazil, and around the United States to take courses, such as in permanent makeup, to make sure my skills are always up to date. In Brazil there are many professionals that make various advancements in the field and I constantly go there to learn from my mentor, Dr. Izilda Penteado, who worked closely with Dr. Ivo Pitanguy. In my free time, I have come across people in my neighborhood and in Brazil suffering with acne and other skin issues and have treated them for free when they do not have the means to see an esthetician.
I also love to spend time with my family – my husband, my two kids, and my dog. I also love to cook, garden, and paint. To see more about the work I have done, I have been featured in various magazines, such as Vogue, W, Elle, People magazine and more.
Mayte is our amazing full-time Medical Assistant. She was born in the Bronx and raised in the Dominican Republic. Her passion for medicine started when she was very little, helping her parents in medical service working for the Lions Club, and then watching her older sister pursue her degree as an MD.
Mayte graduated from Universidad Tecnológica de Santiago, MD (Medicine Doctor degree, Cum laude). Four years ago, she moved back to NY where she had the opportunity to start working in Dermatology, which was love at first sight. Since then, she has started her pathway in this beautiful medical field.
Mayte also has extensive experience as a research coordinator in Plastic surgery in the Dominican Republic. She is bilingual in Spanish and English. She is currently on her path to continue her education to get her US degree at the University of Mount Saint Vincent.
Outside of work and school, Mayte enjoys spending time with her fur baby dog, Milo, who has been a source of energy and infinite love for the last two years.
She enjoys outdoor activities, spending time with her family, and loves fashion and meditation. Her compassion, love for medicine, and knowledge are very valuable for our patients and our clinical team.
Born and raised in New Jersey, Sierra graduated from the University of Vermont in May 2024 with a B.S. in Health Sciences. She now proudly calls New York City her home.
Since joining HDLS nearly a year ago, Sierra has played an integral role in supporting all of our physicians across a wide range of procedures, including the excision of atypical moles, cosmetic treatments, and benign lesion destructions.
While HDLS offers a comprehensive array of dermatologic services, Sierra is especially passionate about surgical procedures, where she enjoys the opportunity to work hands-on alongside our doctors and contribute directly to patient care. Her enthusiasm, precision, and dedication make her a valued member of our clinical team!

Born and raised in Brooklyn, she knew from a young age that her path would lead her into medicine—whether as a doctor or a veterinarian. During her undergraduate studies, she majored in psychology and minored in biology, completing a pre-med track that allowed her to keep future options open while earning a Bachelor of Science degree from the College of Staten Island.
Her professional journey in dermatology began in 2022 when she took her first role as a medical assistant. With a lifelong passion for beauty and makeup, she naturally gravitated toward the dermatology field, recognizing the deep connection between skincare and cosmetic confidence. For her, flawless makeup starts with healthy, well-prepped skin.
Since joining Hudson Dermatology and Laser Surgery, she has found the perfect intersection of her interests—where clinical expertise meets cosmetic artistry. Her role has allowed her to experience the balance of medical and aesthetic dermatology firsthand and to work in an environment that values both skin health and beauty.
“I may not have ended up as a veterinarian, but I did become a very proud dog mom. I found my soul dog, Londyn, two years ago, and she’s been my best friend ever since. In my free time, I love exploring dog-friendly spots around NYC, shopping in SoHo (because I’m just a girl), and making clinical day vlogs on TikTok to show what healthcare looks like behind the scenes!”
Friendly, detail-oriented, and motivated— Marissa Pecorelli goes above and beyond for our patients. Her can-do attitude and warm demeanor help our patients feel at ease and establishes our culture of care from the very beginning.
She always knew she wanted to move to New York City since childhood. While attending Fordham University’s Lincoln Center campus, Marissa began her administrative journey as a Library Aide at Fordham’s Quinn Library. She earned a Bachelor of Arts in Film & Television with a minor in Visual Arts in 2023.
After graduating, she continued to gain administrative experience at other dermatology practices before finally bringing her expertise to Hudson Dermatology and Laser Surgery.
Marissa is passionate about making sure patients receive the best level of care possible from the moment they enter our doors. She has become an integral part of our team, and prides herself on her ability to problem solve and her commitment to our patients.
When she’s not working, Marissa likes to write, paint, and of course, review TV shows and films! Marissa doesn’t have a favorite movie because she finds it too hard to pick, but Pride and Prejudice (2005) and The Truman Show (1998) are two films she’ll recommend to just about anyone.
Isabella joined Hudson Dermatology and Laser Surgery with a passion for patient care and a commitment to making every interaction meaningful. Born in Queens, New York, and raised between the fast pace of the city and the charm of North Carolina, she naturally brings warmth and compassion to her work, ensuring that every patient feels seen, heard, and cared for.
Currently completing her undergraduate studies at St. John’s University, Isabella is a certified phlebotomist with hands-on clinical experience. She has assisted patients across diverse settings, always striving to provide the same level of care and attention she would want for her own loved ones.
Her dedication extends beyond borders—during a medical mission trip to Costa Rica, she supported healthcare efforts in underserved communities, an experience that strengthened her belief in truly patient-centered care.
Isabella is exploring her future as a healthcare provider—whether as a doctor or a physician assistant—but one thing is certain: she aims to be someone patients can trust for answers, comfort, and compassion.
Outside of work and school, Isabella enjoys staying active with Pilates and hot yoga, unwinding with crime documentaries, and spending quality time with family and friends, whom she considers the foundation of a fulfilling life.
After dealing with my own chronic and stubborn cystic acne for multiple years, I unintentionally became my first client success story! While I was performing as a professional dancer in my career, I also was deeply determined to educate myself on how to clear acne.
Once I finally felt I had found a solution, I started sharing helpful skin care tips on social media to educate others. Finding a new love for helping others through education around skincare, I put myself through esthetics school in the Fall of 2022, attending Christine Valmy Intl located in New York City.
From there, I had a complete career change becoming a full time esthetician and dedicated educator. I went on to advance my knowledge through continuing education courses, becoming a 3x certified acne specialist, acne nutrition specialist, and a multicultural skin specialist.
Spending years struggling and feeling defeated, I learned the negative physical, psychological, and emotional impact on one’s self image that acne can cause–which is why I feel so passionate about educating and guiding others on their skin journeys.
Molly recently joined Hudson Dermatology and Laser Surgery as a full time medical assistant. She is originally from New Jersey, but despite her Northeast roots, she found herself in Virginia attending college at the University of Richmond. There, she earned a degree in Finance and served as captain of the Division I women’s soccer team.
Known for her leadership, dedication, and calm, organized approach, Molly’s experiences led her to pursue a career in medicine. Through clinical exposure, volunteer work, and physician shadowing, she developed a strong passion for patient care and decided to apply to medical school.
Molly has developed a strong clinical foundation through diverse experiences, including volunteering at a Level 1 trauma center, shadowing physicians in specialties like orthopedics, and working as a medical assistant in both OBGYN and dermatology.
“I’m especially drawn to dermatology because it offers hands-on care that helps patients feel comfortable, confident, and supported in their own skin, while also allowing me to build meaningful, lasting relationships with the people we care for.”
Molly is excited to continue gaining experience in the field and will begin medical school in New Jersey in 2026.
As a new resident to New York City, Molly is eager to explore the city and as a foodie, discover new restaurants. Outside of work, she also enjoys spending time with her family, going to the beach, and cooking at home. She is currently enjoying planning her wedding with her fiancé over the next year!
