Kith Ivy, Dr. Bhanusali team up- Aesthetica Skin Lab Brings Science-Driven Facials to New York’s most exclusive wellness club

In New York City, wellness has increasingly become part of daily life rather than an occasional indulgence. Nowhere is that more evident than in the West Village, where boutique fitness studios, longevity clinics, and curated wellness spaces sit alongside historic brownstones and neighborhood staples like Jefferson Market Garden, Hudson River Park, and the winding streets around Bleecker.

Against this backdrop, Aesthetica Skin Lab has partnered with Kith Ivy, the members-only wellness and padel club created by Ronnie Fieg, to bring its science-driven custom facials to the club’s private spa.

The collaboration merges dermatologic expertise with the West Village’s evolving wellness culture, where health optimization and longevity are becoming as much a part of the neighborhood lifestyle as a walk along the Hudson at sunset.

According to a recent Forbes article, the new collaboration introduces Aesthetica’s diagnostic-driven facial experience to Kith Ivy members.

Where Dermatology Meets Downtown Wellness Culture

The West Village has quietly become one of Manhattan’s most interesting wellness hubs. Within a few blocks, residents move between padel courts, boutique spas, Erewhon’s first New York tonic bar, and the riverside running paths of Hudson River Park.

Kith Ivy was designed to bring many of those experiences under one roof.

“When we were developing the spa programming at Kith Ivy, we knew we wanted to offer facials, and Dr. Bhanusali and Aesthetica were the only consideration,” says Fieg.

“His treatments are best in class, and the brand he has built aligns perfectly with the elevated experience we want to create for our members.”

For Dhaval Bhanusali, whose dermatology practice has long been associated with innovation in aesthetic medicine, the partnership reflects how modern skin care is increasingly part of a broader lifestyle conversation.

“I’ve always admired what Ronnie has built with Kith,” Dr. Bhanusali says.

“He’s created something culturally meaningful. Being able to bring our vision for Aesthetica into that world is incredibly exciting.”

Inside the Philosophy of Aesthetica Skin Lab

Founded in 2023, Aesthetica Skin Lab was created as an extension of Dr. Bhanusali’s dermatology practice with a focus on long-term skin health and longevity.

Rather than offering a menu of standardized facials, the treatments are designed to be fully customized using diagnostic imaging and physician-developed protocols.

“I’ve never loved traditional facials,” Dr. Bhanusali explains.

“They’re almost like a restaurant menu. You pick something that may not actually be right for your skin. With Aesthetica, we built a truly bespoke experience that starts with understanding the biology of the individual.”

This personalized approach reflects a broader evolution in dermatology: patients are increasingly interested in preventive skin care strategies that improve skin health over time.

From Reactive Dermatology to Proactive Skin Longevity

Historically, dermatology has been largely reactive. Patients visit when something goes wrong, whether it’s acne, pigmentation, or signs of aging.

Aesthetica Skin Lab takes a different perspective.

“Usually you go to a doctor because you’re sick,” Dr. Bhanusali says.

“The idea with Aesthetica was: instead of waiting until something is wrong, how do we help people stay healthy? That’s where the longevity mentality comes in.”

This philosophy is shaping the future of aesthetic dermatology. Rather than chasing trends or quick fixes, treatments are increasingly designed to support skin resilience, maintain collagen health, and prevent damage before it becomes visible.

“Health is the most valuable thing we have,” he adds. “Science should always lead, and today we have tools that allow us to measure and track skin health in ways we couldn’t years ago.”

A Data-Driven Facial Experience

Each Aesthetica facial begins with a VISIA skin analysis and hydration assessment, technologies that evaluate the skin in detail.

The imaging examines:

  • pigmentation beneath the surface
  • UV-related damage
  • redness and inflammation
  • barrier health
  • texture and elasticity

The results allow practitioners to tailor the treatment specifically to each individual.

“With imaging and objective data, we can go beyond what we see on the surface,” Dr. Bhanusali says. “If there’s hidden pigment or UV damage, we can adjust the treatment plan accordingly.”

Treatments may incorporate technologies such as electroporation, LED light therapy, and muscle stimulation, alongside carefully selected skincare formulations designed to strengthen the skin barrier and improve hydration and elasticity.

Why Kith Ivy in the West Village Was the Perfect Fit

For Kith Ivy, the addition of Aesthetica Skin Lab facials complements a broader wellness ecosystem within the club, which includes hydrotherapy, massage, and performance-focused fitness.

“What really appealed to us was Aesthetica’s medical credibility,” Fieg says. “Every facial starts with a VISIA skin analysis, turning what would normally be a spa treatment into something far more precise and results-driven.”

The club’s members – many of whom live or work in downtown Manhattan, are looking for treatments that deliver measurable results while maintaining the privacy and discretion expected in a members-only setting.

A New Model for Skin Health

The Aesthetica Skin Lab facial at Kith Ivy typically lasts about an hour and is designed to be repeated every two to three months, or monthly for those seeking more intensive maintenance.

Over time, the treatments build on one another, improving skin hydration, elasticity, and overall resilience as reported by Robb Report and wwd.com.

“For most people, coming in every few months is a great reset,” Dr. Bhanusali says.

“It’s like a check-up for your skin - making sure everything is on track.” “I think we’re entering a fascinating time where being proactive about skin health will become the default,” he says.

As wellness continues to evolve in neighborhoods like the West Village, dermatology may increasingly follow the same trajectory. Moving from reactive treatments to proactive skin longevity strategies.
